A lot can happen in two years...

Wow, Its been actually almost two years since my last post. Time for some fill in. I came to Guelph-Humber looking to be a photojournalist. I did the double major thing for the last three semesters and juggling a 120% course load was tough. In the end I had to drop my elective for the last couple of semesters. My plan has changed to a degree. It started with being elected to Media Studies program representative in first year and being a pop leader. I started to get more and more into the academic side of this the next this I realized I was the new VP of Academics for the University plus a University of Guelph Senator and Student Senate Executive. The last year was tough balancing classes and trips to Guelph, unexpected assignments after every turn. But I dealt. My mind started focusing on after school, no not the 4 p.m. bell but actually grad school. Being at GH has been a great experience but I've always wanted to have some of the traditional university things as well. My mind settled on the UK with Oxford, Edinburgh , Kings, Cambridge, and Dublin filing the top five spot for MA's and M.Phil. I also decided recently that I will try my hand at Columbia in NY for their M.Sc in Journalism. To do this all however I needed a game plan. I need my third and fourth semester marks to be top of their game plus a resume to match it. And so it has begun. Less tomfoolery (had to use it sorry), more study hours, less GHSA, more Guelph and more of everything they look for in a potential world-changer as they seem to want. This blog will chronicle my final two years at the University and the trials, tribulations, and rewards that await with the application to the Grad Schools. Hang on tight, it will most likely be a bumpy ride.

ReStarting School 101.

So It is 1 month tommorow that I moved into Residence and im going into my 4th week of schooling. Its been weird, trust me but theres a bunch of stuff that needs to be mentioned. First the changing of the blog name, I decided that ReVamped was a high school persona I used to get my butt off the ground and work to get into University. ReStart is how I look at the next four years, for alot of us we are restarting our educations, we're in University, College, or Even doing a Victory Lap. Either one is fine cause everyones looking at the next step. What was elementary school there for? To get us ready for high school, high school? to get us ready for post-secondary options, and those? Life. So wherever u are remember this is the final step...take as long as you need...cause this is it before were thrown out without a key.

Ok so Guelph-Humber. Classes are interesting, my teachers are weird (as they should...even thou Lipton may be moreso lol jks) but I really like how we are being taught. But............here is my problem. Residence...My floor never shuts up (even though its a study floor)I can't sleep, eat, and I feel lousy for going home on the weekends. Plus now Im sick with a weird Viral Infection so I'm all drugged up on antibiotics..tough stuff. Anyway I hope it gets better if not....im not sure what I'll do....

So last weekend I got to see Megan, Kris, Vicky, Mark, Andrew, Kyle, and Sonali so that was good. I had got to sit in with TYWO and play some challenging stuff more like MDHS Music (Which I seriously want to be back in) and then CW...not going to bother explaining...just we really needed Adrienne she knows it.

End of an age....

Well after my giant rant last week i think im in a better mood to post lol. In regards to said post i have worked all issues out and im good now :D. Well it comes down to these 4 days of school. We've been here four years and its our time...little things mark the end of "our" age at MDHS. The ducks got taken away, 4 of my teachers are leaving, and we sat down tonite under threatning skies playing a memory of music of the last four years. We are done, tuesday nights will be sat alone, thursday mornings on a pillow, our instruments will be on their shelves, and the music filed away for the next generation many years down the road. Personally i look foward to starting the next chapter of my life and watching my friends begin their journey's too. Our paths will lead us away from each other into new worlds and people, where will will discover our true potential and find our place in life. Though one day, though very distant we will come back together like a boomerang coming home. I thank all of you for everything you've done for me, each other, and the school we've lived in. To Ms. Corry I only have great wishes and I sincerly hope to find you in good health when I see you again. In less than 12 days I will leave here for four months and will look forward to what comes next just as I hope all of you will.

im pissed at people being fake and doing stupid shit - i cant stand my sister cause she yells and screams at me and makes me feel guilty pretty much for being alive then twists the stories so my parents and the other sister get mad - i officially suck at music cause i spend over a friggin month on a super hard solo for last night to end up with a friggin 79.3 how brutal when ppl that did simple simple things do better than mesimple simple things do better than me - my night school teacher gives everyone almost 100% on their 1/2 of exam and gives me an 80 then tells me everythings my fault when its not - i cant stand anything anymore i feel stabbed by every part of my life i freakin hate it

all i want is everything and everyone to dissapear and jake to come back now!
